Purpose: In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5144.02, this issuance establishes
policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for DODIN transport and the life-cycle
management of:
• Connection and interconnection of information systems (e.g., applications, enclaves, or outsourced
processes).
• Unified capabilities (UC) products (including data, voice, and video).
• Access to information services (including data, voice, video, and cross domain (CD)) transmitted
over the DODIN transport.
