Purpose: This issuance, in accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5124.02, establishes policy,
assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for:
• Staffing ESGR.
• Developing programs that promote employer and community support for the operational missions
and activities of Reserve Component (RC) members.
• Conducting recurring employer relations training of RC members, in accordance with DoD
Instruction (DoDI) 1205.12.
