2 Classification
.
Optical sources are classifi ed into two product assurance
seal$ng
levels designated A and B
.
Sealing level A (QLA) parts are hermetically
sealed sources which have under gone and passed kOO percent screening tests

Seal ing
level B (QL8) parts are nonherrnetically sealed sources which have underqone and
passed 100 percent screening tests
.
