14. ABSTRACT
This Test Operations Procedure (TOP) provides testing guidelines for individual Soldier cold weather clothing and
footwear in a cold regions environment. The primary goal of this TOP is to outline procedures that will determine the
protective characteristics from cold, wind and snow of individual Soldier clothing, along with its safety, reliability,
durability, and performance when exposed to a cold regions environment.
