This addendum complements AFI 21-101, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management.
This addendum prescribes policies and procedures governing aerospace equipment maintenance
management of F-35 aircraft for Pacific Air Force Command (PACAF). This addendum applies
to the Air National Guard (ANG) or Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) when assigned to
Classic Associate Units supporting PACAF units. Maintenance units will use this instruction in
conjunction with the PACAF supplement to AFI 21-101; if a conflict exists between the PACAF
supplement and this addendum the addendum will take precedence. This addendum may be
supplemented at any level. Supplements to this publication and the basic AFI are not required to
be sent to the OPR for review unless they have deviations. The authorities to waive wing/unit
level requirements in this publication are identified with a Tier (T-2, T-3) number following the
compliance statement. Waivers for T-0, T-1, T-2 or non-tiered compliance items will be sent to
HQ PACAF/A4M, pacaf.a4mv3@us.af.mil. Refer recommended changes and questions about
this publication through the appropriate functional chain of command to the Office of Primary
Responsibility (OPR) using the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication.
Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are
maintained IAW AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program, and
